Logging problem -- still need help on this one
by Michael DeHaan
Yesterday I posted that i needed some help with Apache logging setup to
prevent a repeated AJAX call (and only that call) from filling up our logs.
https://fedorahosted.org/pipermail/cobbler-devel/2009-September/001202.html
I'm going to probably disable the (shiny) events notification feature in
the web app unless someone has an answer to this one. It does not seem
super-complex, but information from Apache experts would help me a lot
here. I really don't want to set the entire log up to rotate_logs
automatically (in the RPM) as other people may be using the logs for
other purposes, but putting something in the web configuration file
makes good sense.
I'm planning on getting 2.0 out tomorrow and would like to include this
feature in 2.0 if possible.
Help much appreciated!

Update notes and Release Info for 2.0
by Michael DeHaan
As I mentioned, 2.0 goes out the door tomorrow (yipee)...
Here's my pass at release notes for it.
If I'm forgetting anything anyone in particular remembers (especially in
regard to update instructions!) ... let me know.
https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/wiki/WhatsNewInTwoOh
I also need to update the Web App page, at least, in the coming weeks...
to let people know not only what the newness is, but also a few tips
about using it.

manage_ctrl.py used?
by Vreman, Peter
When doing some greps I can across the manage_ctrl.py file. But I can find a place where it is used. It mentions 'cobbler sync'. But it looks like it is a left over.

[PATCH] dhcp error, use dhcpd.conf instead of dhcp.conf
by Vreman, Peter
The generated dhcp configuration filename is dhcp.conf instead of dhcpd.conf. The result is that dhcp does not reload with the new configuration or fails to start when the old configuration is deleted.
