I was talking with the dnf developers today. They said there is no
direct way to achieve this. But we can create a plugin which will remove
it (if it exits) after any transaction.
It'd be nice to avoid the network traffic.
I'm assuming here that the kernel update itself will act gracefully if
the package isn't there. That's not actually a tested assumption. :)
