Consegui fazer o Fedora funcionar no notebook positivo. Pra isso tive que pegar o
xorg.conf do meu CentOS, mudar o driver de vídeo para VESA e colocar no notebook.
Funcionou. Mais um cliente satisfeito.
Se algum de vocês pegar isso pela frente, aí vai o xorg.conf que funciona:
