Excerpts from Ed Gasiorowski's message of 2017-05-26 11:04 -07:00:
Just tried to import RHEL-7.4-EA2 for arm64 and received the
following
error.. any ideas?
[root@beaker ~]# beaker-repo-update
2017-05-26 10:15:42,332 bkr.server.tools.repo_update WARNING failure:
repodata/r epomd.xml from
http:--beaker-project.org-yum-harness-RedHatEnterpriseLinuxPegas7
-: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
http://beaker-project.org/yum/harness/RedHatEnterpriseLinuxPegas7/repodat...
d.xml: [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not Found
Hmm I didn't know we were shipping betas with the codename "Pegas"...
I think you will find it will be different again on the next one.
You can just use the harness packages built for RHEL7, but
beaker-repo-update doesn't know that so it is trying to download
packages for RedHatEnterpriseLinuxPegas7 which we haven't published.
The simplest fix is to just create a symlink to make it re-use the RHEL7
harness packages that you would already have. On your Beaker server:
ln -s RedHatEnterpriseLinux7 /var/www/beaker/harness/RedHatEnterpriseLinuxPegas7
Pegas is the codename for RHEL-7.4.... what file in the distro does
beaker
use to generate this http: url... media.repo?
[InstallMedia]
name=Red Hat Enterprise Linux Pegas 7.4
mediaid=1493121908.775686
metadata_expire=-1
gpgcheck=0
cost=500
checked .treeinfo and .diskinfo and both are Redhat Enterprise Linux
7.3... thats a different issue
It would have come from .composeinfo, if one was included in the distro
you were given. And yeah if .treeinfo says RHEL7.3 that is indeed a bit
of a worry, although if Beaker is getting the name from .composeinfo
then the name in .treeinfo will not have any effect so it shouldn't
matter.
