Hi Adrian,
Sorry about the late response. Firstly welcome.
I'm Adrian Sorge and I would love to contribute to the fedora on
arm group, because I've been interested in non x86 architectures since about 5 years.
I'm a computer engineering student living in Germany(CET). I have experiences in
programming (mostly c(++) and java), automation(ansible and puppet) and
monitoring(nagios).
I would like to start with some changes to the arm-image-installer (I was thinking about
adding some functions, including the automatic download of the image before writing it to
the medium).
arm-image-installer is written in bash, it's relatively straight
forward, the upstream is hosted in pagure:
https://pagure.io/arm-image-installer
Generally the easiest way it to provide pull requests there and we do
we do reviews via the interface there.
Since I'm new to open source development, it would be great if
someone could help me getting started and/or be my mentor/sponsor.
What would you expect from a mentor/sponsor? The arm-image-installer
project is pretty small and not really set up to provide that.
Peter
