This usually means there is some filtering going on between the list and your client. When it happened to me, it turned out that my ISP was "helpfully" filtering messages. When I turned that off, I began receiving all the messages again.
Ok, i will try to check it out. Second question: is is normal that when i switch the Digests on i don`t receive separated topics but only the list ??

You haven't said what messages you aren't seeing. You are using gmail. AFAIK, gmail tries to "help" you and doesn't show you the emails sent by you.
As for the digest.... If you are using T-Bird with gmail then it should work properly soon. The digests have just been switch to "mime" mode....
Concerning the digests.... Please correct me if see the way of working of mailing list with digests wrong: a) mail delivery -switched on d) digests -switched on
Acorrding to above i assume i should get digests with the topics per day and individual topics(emails with topics) as well. Am i right ???

No. You can only get digests or individual emails. Not both.
Ok, so in this case on the administration page of mailing list there are settings (quoted by me) leading to missunderstanding (somebody can think like me about the way it works).

It is very clear....
Set this option to Enabled to receive messages posted to this mailing list. Set it to Disabled if you want to stay subscribed, but don't want mail delivered to you for a while (e.g. you're going on vacation). If you disable mail delivery, don't forget to re-enable it when you come back; it will not be automatically re-enabled.
Is a simple "on/off" setting. On says you get mail. Off says you don't. Basically a "vacation" setting. No where in it does it say it affects "how" you will get messages.
The digest mode does that for you.... On you get digests, Off you get individual messages.....
Easy simple....
Yes, i have taken a look once again on it and you are right -i was thinking about it in different way. Thank you for your time and explanations to beginner.

Looking at the list administration page, I see
If you turn digest mode on, you'll get posts bundled together (usually one per day but possibly more on busy lists), instead of singly when they're sent. ^^^^^^^
So, it's pretty clear. Of course, if English isn't a person's native language, or if someone reads it in a hurry, there's always a chance of misunderstanding, but even I, who always complain about poorly phrased explanations with Fedora, :), think it's pretty clear.
It's also, as far as I know, fairly standard with mailing lists. I'm sure there are exceptions, but all the lists I know that have digests do it in an either/or manner--that is, either you get individual mails or you get the digest.

Yes, they consider it a feature to reduce clutter in your inbox. It's why I don't use gmail for mailing lists. They seem to have, as far as I can tell, simply ignored the MANY requests for it to be an option, rather than a "feature" that you can't turn off at will.
There may be some way around it, if you only use their web interface, with labels--I vaguely remember a friend from a BSD list and I trying something, but he was using webmail.

Thanks Patrick, that's an interesting idea, and I might use it in the future.
