This has been bugging me for a while. Anyone know if there's a byte
sequence for 'end of unicode , reset terminal' that we could
print before the kernel starts dumping output?
... but, the vt is normally in unicode when the kernel oopses, without issues.
Does newt/slang set it to a *different* mode?
