Here (i686 + x86_64) it got created OK.
Well, it didn't create a grub stanza for me - x86-64.
So I created one, and rebooted. That was a mess because
_all_ hard drives on 2.6.19 are treated as scsi - sda,sdb,
etc. BTW, cdrom/dvd is srX.
Maybe /sbin/grubby knew enough not to like root=/dev/hda5? (
I've dropped the Label= )?
