I had high hopes the Fedora repository and approach would expand and
gain
more wide spread use thus making it even easier to pull-together a fully
functional workstation/desktop.
I still hope that will happen
Red Hat hasn't wanted to or been able to deal with. The things
needed
to provide my customers
(and myself) a reasonable, competitive alternative to Windows
There is a difference between changing laws and breaking them. There are
many pieces of software that can't be used in some countries and the
framework exists to allow people to operate such repositories and others
to use them.
In the US there its a matter of changing the law or buying
packages including patent licenses.
