I saw something similar, but after I add space, I'm back to the original
picture, where I see what I have and can then click a minus to remove the
partition.
Hi Scott,
nothing (such as you described) is viewable on my install screen: I
can't remove or add any partition, so I'm constrained to accept the disk
as it is, that means, I must live with the installer's partitioning. I
hope the final Alpha or Beta are a little bit more
accommodative.

Usually when I have the dialog box to create and give a mount
point, I can see how much free space is remaining. On a couple of tests
that I did right now, at times, rather than seeing that, it was blacked
out, but I suspect that is just a VirtualBox thing. And when I did add the
new mount point and space, once again, I was back at the screen showing
free space, and was able to delete the mount I just created.
So, for me, it seems to be working.
