Can you see connect to server? under places *if* using gdm, not sure of
kde desktop\browser?

I think that this is a cyclic bug appearing sometimes during rawhide
cycle....cost of software updating, I guess :-) and also have you
tried to print on a Windows shared printer??? No Way
