What about i915_enable_rc6 not being the default...? Does still put

In my case it gives me about 1hour and a half of battery life more....
modinfo asserts:
parm: i915_enable_rc6:Enable power-saving render C-state 6
(default: true) (int)
are you sure it's *not* the default?
- What should I do with nouveau kernel module?
Should I put inside boot option also something like nouveau.nomodeset=0 ?
At this time I have nouveau loaded, but nvidida adapter disabled (with
acpi_call)
Not sure, but one suggestion I would have would be to disable the NVIDIA
adapter via the BIOS if that's at all possible. That should result in
the simplest configuration.
BTW: is the Intel driver in Fedora 16 currently built with
"--enable-sna" option or planned to be ?
From the looks of the spec, no:
%configure --disable-static --libdir=%{_libdir} --mandir=%{_mandir}
--enable-dri --enable-xvmc
