Hi,
2011/5/6 Clyde E. Kunkel <clydekunkel7734(a)cox.net>:
I am wondering why ntpdate.service is enabled in systemd when
updating
the clock via the network time service was never requested?
Is this one of the services that is explicitly started now?
No, IMHO it should not be started by default
If so, is
there a list of such services?
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Spot/DefaultServices
In the installer, there is a screen that
offers the opportunity to use network time services, but I never check
it due to the amount of time it takes during boot/restart.
Actually it's started parallel with other services that needs network.target.
TIA
