Because the message was removed in F-14/RHEL 6?
Probably because that feature has been very unreliable, if it worked at all,
for quite a few releases before that.
Adding "confirm" as a boot parameter will reliably get you into interactive
startup. (Tried it just now in F-12 and F-14.)
