It crashes with Xen fully-virt guest on Intel CPUs instantly. Black
screen, guest uses 100% CPU. Would I be right in thinking this new
fancy boot screen uses real-mode ... ? If so it is doomed on Xen
and KVM when using Intel CPUs. BTW, the previous test4 ISO exhibits
same crash behaviour
So it's not a regression? That's really what we're testing for.
Basically this new CD bootloader should work on everything it did in
Test4, and also work right in full-virt KVM guests.
I'm not sure if we've got a fix for full-virt Xen guests yet. Hopefully
before F7 final.
