I'm putting together a brand new machine with an abit ip35 pro mb

It takes a VERY long time before graphics screen comes up. Lots of
messages about ATA, resetting in 5 seconds, etc.
I noticed is said disabling interrupt 19.
I also noticed that it (eventually) finds my hard drives, and they
seem to be on interrupt 19. Coincidence.
When I finally get to the partitioning screen, it says "No drives
found"
Make sure your bios isn't set to emulate the sata as IDE. Some bioses
ship this way to make it easier to install older Windows, but Linux has
no need for this.
