Just a side note: yum wouldn't update fedora-release-3-rawhide to
fedora-release-3-8 for me, I had to do this manually.
Right. set exactarch=0 in your yum.conf and it will.
fedora-release changed from i386/x86_64 to noarch b/t fc2 and fc3.
yum won't let a package change architectures if you have exactarch=1
