When BuPC was not installed ,you can try mkinitrd -f (for the new
kernel ) to exclude dracut failures (its new ,and had
some problems).
BackupPC is not installed.
I have created a new initrd with mkinitrd and this allows me to boot the
new kernel!
So the faulty component is definitely the dracut now, right? I'm
considering to file a bug against dracut.
