Is it worth these people installing the related debuginfo packages for a
more full backtrace?
Yes please; it makes the backtraces much more informative.
At a guess I assume it would help to install:
evolution-debuginfo
evolution-webcal-debuginfo
evolution-data-server-debuginfo
gtkhtml3-debuginfo
libgal2-debuginfo
libsoup-debuginfo
Yes, that's a good list (though evolution-webcal-debuginfo is unlikely
