Right. So efibootmgr is being called before /etc/default/grub is written, so I bet you
don't have that. And if you don't have that, grub2-mkconfig is producing grub.cfgs
that don't contain boot params 'rhgb quiet' which is what cause the Fedora
logo splash startup screen to show (via plymouth).
So we need another bug filed to see if anaconda team can do efibootmgr pretty much dead
last, because if it fails as the last thing done, there's still a good chance the
system is bootable. At least, it's a better chance than now where it's basically
all f'd up since post install tasks didn't complete. I'll file it.
