Failed openQA tests: 8/152 (x86_64), 1/2 (arm)
New failures (same test not failed in Fedora-31-20190904.n.0):
ID: 443012 Test: x86_64 Workstation-live-iso desktop_update_graphical
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443012
This failed on switching away from a logged-in desktop to a VT, doing
stuff at the VT, and switching back to the desktop; when switching back
we hit a login screen instead of the desktop, indicating the desktop
session crashed or something else happened. Not sure if this is just a
blip. I'll re-run the test and see.
ID: 443037 Test: x86_64 Silverblue-dvd_ostree-iso
release_identification
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443037
This is kinda a known thing where Silverblue mungs the os-release file
a bit, we need to update the openQA test to accommodate it.
ID: 443076 Test: x86_64 universal support_server
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443076
ID: 443115 Test: x86_64 universal install_kickstart_nfs
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443115
This was just some kinda network blip, re-ran and it passed.
Old failures (same test failed in Fedora-31-20190904.n.0):
ID: 442996 Test: x86_64 Server-dvd-iso modularity_tests
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/442996
This is failing on a bunch of genuine issues in modules that are all
linked in the comment:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/442996#comment-4908
ID: 443031 Test: x86_64 KDE-live-iso desktop_background
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443031
This is
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1749086 , KDE needs
special handling to get the F31 backgrounds.
ID: 443032 Test: x86_64 KDE-live-iso apps_startstop
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443032
This had issues because an 'updates available!' notification appeared
just too late for the test to dismiss it again before proceeding, which
it tries to do. When that notification hangs around, it causes problems
with some of the modules in this test by obscuring app UI elements
openQA expects to be able to 'see'. I'm re-running it, and we'll have
to look at enhancing the test to catch the update notification if it
shows up late...
ID: 443034 Test: arm Minimal-raw_xz-raw.xz
install_arm_image_deployment_upload
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443034
This is a tradition! One day I'll get aarch64 tests into production,
sigh.
ID: 443107 Test: x86_64 universal install_cyrillic_language
URL:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/443107
This is an odd failed needle match because the text was a bit darker
than expected, or something. I re-ran the test and it passed.
So overall we're looking quite good on the tests for F31 at this point.
