Desktop Live CD should not be used to mass install to lab machines
either setup a proper installation environment where you use kickstart
or use the DVD image from Rel-Eng.
Where in my e-mail, did I mention that I used "Desktop Live CD" to install my
machines. I have a proper NFS based installation environment and local copies
of the Fedora repos which I've used for years to do lab installations without
problems.
Neither one of those item on your list that you mention are
regressions.
And it seems to me that removing the ability to configure the security of your
systems is a definite regression.
