This does not mean very much. What you will see if you will
do 'cat /proc/mounts'?
For some time initscripts are seriously broken

and /etc/mtab is messed up throwing out of kilter 'mount', 'df'
and who knows what else.
It is somewhat strange that this things remains broken for so long
time.
