Did you test it in a virtual machine? If so, you may well have run into:

(though I would have thought that one should be fixed). You can try
setting the video adapter in the VM to 'vga' to check if this is your
problem. (You'll also have to switch from Spice to VNC if you were
previously using Spice/qxl).
I tried the netinst image, It did not know where to
download the
software from.
I tried the DVD image. On a simple Gnome install, anaconda stalled
about 2/3 of the way through
(jufging by the progress bar) consuming all available CPU cycles. No
obvious fatal error messages
on any of the console TTYs. tty2 is executing commands such as df and top.
