I just tried it - all it does is hang.
I ran beagled as myself.
Then I tried:
beagle-status
[hang]
beagle-search
[hang]
beagle-shutdown
[hang]
Hey Neal,
try starting the daemon via beagle-search. Just type in any word, it
will not find, but it brings you a dialog to start the daemon.
