I was having the same problem when I was running rawhide. A bunch of
windows would open at times, with "npview.bin" or something like that in
the window. Sometimes they would stay open, sometimes they would close.
Firefox would crash a lot so it or something wasn't very stable.

and npviewer.bin generates a lot of SELinux denial warnings. Might be related.
