rawhide nautilus-2.91.9-2
by Rob Healey
> Greetings All:

> I am truly curious about this rawhide package? When I start my gnome

>Nautilus doesn't show desktop icons any more. Try pressing the "Windows"
l>ogo key if you have it, or click on Activities to show the shell's

Thank you so much for this information! I had truly thought that nautilus
had been broken for a long time now!
Sincerely yours,
Rob G. Healey

rawhide nautilus-2.91.9-2???
by Rob Healey
Greetings All:
I am truly curious about this rawhide package? When I start my gnome 2 or
gnome 3 desktop, I do NOT have the nautilus icons on my screen, such as ( My
Computer, Home Folder, and Trash )!
I can though use nautilus if I type nautilus into the cli or Run App/ Alt +
F2...
I know that Gnome is in a huge state of flux right now, and it is something
that comes with Fedora rawhide, but I have NOT been able to get nautilus to
work since it came into 2.91.x ...
To get a working version of nautilus, I have to use the latest stable of
nautilus in fc14!
Is anyone else having the same issue or have a possible fix?? I know that
it is not a critical issue since I can still use it, but it is a pain...
Here is something that I get on the terminal when I run it from there:
[Frog@CaptainHook ~]$ nautilus
** (nautilus:13808): WARNING **: AT-SPI: Accessibility bus not found - Using
session bus.
Initializing nautilus-gdu extension
Unable to open the desktop metadata keyfile: No such file or directory
Sincerely yours,
Rob G. Healey

kcm_touchpad-0.3.1-6.fc13 (FEDORA-2011-1190)
Synaptics driver based touchpads kcontrol module
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update fixes several bugs in kcm_touchpad:
* The "Smart Mode" groupbox, which was always disabled because it is not implemented, is now hidden entirely.
* A bug where System Settings would crash entirely if the required touchpad settings were not available has been fixed; instead, the touchpad UI gets disabled in that case.
* Sensitivity settings now start at 1 rather than 0.
* Circular scrolling can now be configured correctly. (#633353)
* The config file providing hardcoded defaults has been dropped in favor of using the default settings from the Synaptics driver. This should address #611611, which was caused by bad default settings. It also means that the mere act of installing kcm_touchpad will no longer magically enable tapping by default; if you want tapping to be enabled, use the kcm_touchpad UI to enable it.
* The Scrolling tab now uses a vertical scrollbar when needed, to fit on netbooks with small vertical screen size. (#600121)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog:
* Tue Feb 8 2011 Kevin Kofler <Kevin(a)tigcc.ticalc.org> - 0.3.1-6
- Merge bugfixes from Kubuntu, fixes circular scrolling and more (#633353)
- Drop default kcmtouchpadrc, use driver defaults (#611611)
- Make the Scrolling tab use a vertical scrollbar if needed (#600121)

kcm_touchpad-0.3.1-6.fc14 (FEDORA-2011-1194)

ChangeLog:
* Tue Feb 8 2011 Kevin Kofler <Kevin(a)tigcc.ticalc.org> - 0.3.1-6

- Drop default kcmtouchpadrc, use driver defaults (#611611)
