In this case, the licensing is self-explanatory, but can you please
document it anyway, so we comply with the guidelines?
Yes. Something like

Can we not install them?

/usr/share/lite-xl/fonts/icons.ttf
Ideally, we would like to require or recommend them as a dependency.
Do you mean a lite-xl subpackage?
