Description: s3fs is a FUSE filesystem that allows you to mount an Amazon S3
bucket as a local filesystem. It stores files natively and transparently in S3
(i.e., you can use other programs to access the same files). Maximum file
size=64GB (limited by s3fs, not Amazon).
s3fs is stable and is being used in number of production environments, e.g.,
rsync backup to s3.
Additional info: I am a new packager, and need a sponsor.
Also, this package conflicts with an existing package already in fedora:
fuse-s3fs (this is stated in the spec file). However the fuse-s3fs appears to
be abandoned in upstream (most recent commit at
https://fedorahosted.org/s3fs/browser is from 3 years ago) and, in fact, I
couldn't make it work as it is right now. This package on the other hand is
being actively maintained and claims to be more mature.

OpenR2 is a library that implements the MFC/R2 signaling over E1 lines
using DAHDI. The MF R2 tones required for the signaling are generated
by code borrowed from the LGPL library SpanDSP written by Steve
Underwood, the user has the option to provide a MF interface to use
his own MF R2 tone generation and detection so the library will use
them when needed, that's why this library does not depend directly on
spandsp, libteletone or DAHDI for tone generation and detection
(depends on DAHDI for CAS bits and general media transmission though)

Description:
== Segmentation of vascular segments (or other anatomical structures) from
medical
images:
Gradient-based 3D level sets segmentation. A new gradient computation
modality based on upwind finite differences allows the segmentation of small
(down to 1.2 pixels/diameter) vessels.
Interactive level sets initialization based on the Fast Marching Method.
This includes a brand new method for selecting a vascular segment comprised
between two points automatically ignoring side branches, no parameters
involved.
Segmenting a complex vascular tract comes down to selecting the endpoints of a
branch, letting level sets by attracted to gradient peaks with the sole
advection term turned on, repeating the operation for all the branches and
merging everything in a single model.
== Geometric analysis and surface data processing of 3D models of blood vessels
(and tubular objects in general)((The key algorithms have been published on
medical imaging journals. You can find a complete reference to publications at
David Steinman's and Luca Antiga's homepages)):
Compute centerlines and maximal inscribed sphere radius of branching
tubular
structures given their polygonal surface representation
Split surface models into their constitutive branches based on centerline
geometry
Compute centerline-based geometric quantities (such as bifurcation angles,
planarity, symmetry, branch curvature, tortuosity) and surface-based geometric
quantities (such as distance to centerlines, surface curvature, deviation from
tangency to maximal inscribed spheres)
Robustly map branches to a rectangular parametric space
Generate rectangular patches based on the parametric mapping for
statistical
analysis of geometric and CFD data over populations.
== Scripts, I/O tools and simple algorithms to easily work with images and
meshes:
Read and write a number of image, surface and volume mesh formats. Includes
a DICOM series reader with auto-flipping capabilities, Netgen mesh format
reader, libMesh xda mesh format writer, Tetgen mesh generator wrapper, FIDAP
FDNEUT mesh format reader and writer and a Newtetr input file generator
Display images and meshes
Incapsulate several VTK classes and make them available as pipeable scripts
(e.g. Marching Cubes, surface smoothing, clipping, normal computation,
connectivity, subdivision, distance between surfaces, ICP registration)
Add cylindrical extensions to surface model boundaries as a preprocessing
step for CFD simulations.
Generate boundary layers of prismatic elements with varying thickness for
CFD

Description:
I've just created my first rpm for submission to Fedora Extra. And I would
appreciate a review to get some feedback and hints how I may improve my
packaging.
I have selected the Adventure PHP Framework because this project has been
started by a good friend of mine and so I'm double motivated in maintaining it.
The adventure php framework (http://adventure-php-framework.org) understands
itself as a utility to implement object oriented and generic PHP web
applications. It supports the developer to create programs in compliance with
approved software design pattern and the code base already has answers to many
everyday problems. The framework cannot be described as an application, that
only has to be configured, but rather as a technical basis and design guide for
the design of software.
The apf-1.13-1.fc15.src.rpm comes with an example implementation so that the
user may start using the framework right away.
The apf-doc-1.13-1.fc15.src.rpm includes the complete API documentation.

Description:
Hi,
I just wanted to reenable (right now it is orphaned for Fedora 16) the package
comoonics-base-py. It is dep for the packages comoonics-cdsl-py and
comoonics-cluster-py.
In the last days they failed to build for rawhide because of the missing dep.
This package has been orphaned for Fedora 16. I took ownership of the older
rpms but would need it also for Fedora 16 because of the dependencies so I
would also like to take the ownership there too.
This package has been part of the Open-Sharedroot feature see
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Opensharedroot.
I reuploaded the sources/specs so they should build.
Let me know what I can do.
Thanks
Marc.
