For My Information:
The content of mactel-boot-0.1.tar.bz2 changed without changing the version
number.
hfs-bless now takes the directory of 3rd argument as 2nd argument and the mount
point of both as 1st argument.
hfs-bless will now in the process umount the mount point specified as 1st
argument, and before exit it will call system("mount /boot/efi").
For what it's worth:
I find the command line interface even more strange and error-prone than
before.
The idea of a rpm trigger scripts that invokes a binary which mounts and
unmounts file systems and might render the system unbootable if it fails, that
do not seem very appealing to me.
My previous tests and the right interpretation of them indicates that the
problem has been that the directory inode wasn't written correctly. The
incorrect inode was written "correctly" and I have not seen anything that
indicates that it was a problem that the filesystem was mounted.
However, I guess argv[1] should be used instead of hardcoding /boot/efi.
I will test RSN.
