[Bug 1963740] New: Package cryfs
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1963740
Bug ID: 1963740
Summary: Package cryfs
Product: Fedora
Version: 34
Hardware: x86_64
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: nate(a)kde.org
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
Upstream repo: https://github.com/cryfs/cryfs
This repo provides CryFS, which is one of three supported cryptographic file
backends for the Plasma Desktop's Vaults feature.
I just migrated from openSUSE Tumbleweed and set up a CryFS-based vault over
there, but was rather dismayed to discover that it is inaccessible in Fedora
due to the lack of CryFS being available in the repos. I had to build it from
source to make my data accessible again. This is not really something I would
recommend for a typical user. :)

Description:
A feed generator for text based status bars
i3blocks executes your command lines and generates a status line from
their output. Commands are scheduled at configured time intervals,
upon signal reception or on clicks.
The generated line is meant to be displayed by the i3 window manager
through its i3bar component, as an alternative to i3status.
i3blocks is meant to be highly flexible but intuitive. No library
package is required, just output what your status bar expects, from
your favorite programming language and your preferred format.
