Further to Tobi's previous comments this is a cross-distribution SPEC, targeted
at Fedora (FC5 tested), Mandriva (2006 tested) and SUSE (10.2 tested)... and
uses a couple of conditional statements to reflect this.
The 'touch' work-around (FC5 tested) was for an issue in 'rpmbuild' which seemed
to be creating unnecessary binaries for a Python script we distribute.
Our goal is to release 1.2.0 before Xmas (1 week) and we are still looking for a
sponsor should anyone be able to help - The work involved should be
little/minimal for this person.

------- Additional Comments From tzafrir(a)cohens.org.il 2006-12-18 02:43 EST -------
What's the current status of this package? It is needed by various USB devices.
Regarding the license: apart from a3load.hex I see no problem. a3load.hex is an
optional second-stage loader. Its source is included in the development kit of
the device, but I'm not sure about the license.
In the worst case, you should be able to remove it without harming the main
functionality of the package: it is used later as a .hex file and not used in
the build process itself. Also note that it is firmware: code that runs on the
guest processor.

This bug is a unassigned fedora extras review request, so it should be assigned
to 'nobody(a)fedoraproject.org'. Feel free to change it back if I am mistaken.
Also, why is this blocking FE-GUIDELINES?
Can someone add a comment on what guideline it's waiting for?
