Similar answer :) Getting upstream took a while, but it is in
Torvalds tree now, see:

Ah, cool. Went into 3.18 and because patch(1) is awesome it happily
continued to apply another copy of the same quirk. Sigh. I'll drop
the patch from rawhide.
