Mike, just how many direct modes do we have here?
There was already a bug report on direct vs normal
mode.
That was “direct commit” versus “normal commit”.
As this is only useful for tables which have RULES = ...
to define new shortcuts, I disabled it for tables
which don’t have that (like rusle for example).
It was this commit:

This is already included in ibus-table 1.9.0
And now we have direct vs table mode...
Which is something completely different.
While the same name, these direct modes seem to have
nothing to do with each other.
This is nothing but to confuse the user. :)
