Thanks for the reply. Shortly after I posted, I was able to get it deployed. I do not
know why it did not show up in my first search as I thought I had the parameters right,
but oh well. I am sure it was operator error.

Double check that you have "Viewing:" "All Images" "All
Platforms"
selected in the
EC2 dashboard/console.
You might just be searching only images owned by your account ( "Owned
by me")
