I can see the tag, I trimmed all the others.
Oh yes, I also saw that. But, AFAICT, that list come from somewhere
_ELSE_ than CVS itself (not sure where w/o digging in the Makefile).
If I use cvs log on any file in my -devel branch files, no one has
that tag.
That is why I thought it looks like something to report in BZ (or on
the infrastructure ticket system)
I am wondering whether I should try to ignore what I know about cvs (I
use it at work so it's probably my usage pattern that is triggering
the problem).

Just use cvs tag -Fc mantis-1_0_6-2_fc7 to retag the files to finish
the failed tga operation.
