Koji patches for review

I've got a few patches lined up for Koji, and I'd love to see them get reviewed and merged. I'm happy to answer any questions about them. As a Koji newbie it was difficult for me to figure out the precise SCM string format that Koji expects; these error messages helped me troubleshoot my way through the fog. The next two are "bigger" logic changes. https://fedorahosted.org/koji/ticket/226 Don't rewrite HTTPS URLs as HTTP This is a tweak to Koji-web so that I don't get kicked back to an HTTP URL when I click "logout". https://fedorahosted.org/koji/ticket/230 add HTTP "proxy" option to builder This is a feature that implements an HTTP proxy option for the builders. It allows me to easily use my Squid box as a cache so I don't have to hit a mirror over the internet each time. HTTPS with Koji

Hi all, Would HTTP Strict Transport Security be a good feature to implement on some of the Fedora infrastructure, such as koji.fp.o, or admin.fp.o? Incidentally I noticed that Koji-web will sometimes redirect to plaintext URLs. A patch is at https://fedorahosted.org/koji/ticket/226 - Ken

createrepo and presto metadata

I upgraded a server that provides RPM packages from F14 to F15 about 2 months ago. Since the upgrade, createrepo is leaving behind old prestodelta.xml.gz files. I do not see a new command line option to remove these automatically. Is createrepo suppose to leave these files behind now? $ rpm -q createrepo createrepo-0.9.9-4.fc15.noarch Thanks, Michael

New Kojiweb theme

As part of this ticket[1] in the fedora-design team, i have been working on a new theme for kojiweb. Sadly, I don't have a public-facing server where you can see the theme in action, so here are a few screenshots of it [2],[3],[4]. The source for the new theme is available here. mock scm write_tar - file changed as we read it

I'm using mock 1.1.16 on fedora 15, and am hitting an error with the 'write_tar' related scm functionality. It looks like the creation of the .tar.gz of the source is confusing tar, as it's being created within the source dir. Example output: DEBUG: Executing command: ['tar', 'czf', '/tmp/tmpmnCogc.mock-scm.less/less/less-1.tar.gz', '--exclude', '/tmp/tmpmnCogc.mock-scm.less/less/less-1.tar.gz', '--xform=s,^less,less-1,', 'less'] DEBUG: tar: less/less-1.tar.gz: file changed as we read it This is using tar 1.26 (from tar-1.26-2.fc15.x86_64.rpm). Mock is being called like so: mock -v -r mock --configdir=/var/build/workers/tasks/shared/91663dc9-8d22-4e73-b0d9-3df6073 b0ed6/mock --no-clean --rebuild --scm-enable --scm-option method=git --scm-option git_get="git clone ssh://alandrum@192.168.1.192/~/work/build/base_os/less/.git SCM_PKG" --scm-option spec="SCM_PKG.spec" --scm-option package=less --scm-option branch=19bec4b078bcc2b8caa910beee9674f54adf46d7 I'm not sure if its relevant, but here's the top of my spec file: Name:less Version:1 Release:1 Summary:test generated spec License:test Source0:%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz I would expect the '--exclude' to have tar not care about any timestamps on less-1.tar.gz, but it looks like it does.

Adding extra files to ISOs created by pungi

Hi, When making a custom spin of Fedora for a specific set of machines using pungi, I feel the need to be able to add extra files to the ISO. In particular one or more kickstart files that can be used during the installation. Preferably this feature should be generic, adding some file/directory glob, IMHO. When googling I do not seem to be the only one with this idea. But, most of these mails are from 3+ years ago and I do not see an option in pungi allowing me to do this (but I hope I'm wrong...). So my question: is there a (maybe dirty) trick to do this. Now I'm thinking of re-mkisofs'ing the ISO, running implant* etc. again (did anyone make a script for this already?), but talking about dirtyness, this is a pretty "expensive" way of doing it.
