Got an error from /usr/lib/revisor/scripts/F12-buildinstall
by Eric Zhong
I'm on FC13, i want to use revisor to build installtree, but get Errror
below:
Building Installation Images:
0.0% Got an error from /usr/lib/revisor/scripts/F12-buildinstall (return
code 1)
And why the config files of revisor on FC13 are all f12*.
My steps :
1. download all RPMS from
http://mirrors.sohu.com/fedora/releases/13/Fedora/i386/os/Packages/
2. create comps.xml :
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.fedoraproject.org:/cvs/pkgs
cvs co comps
make comps-f13.xml
3. createrepo :
createrepo -g comps-f13.xml RPMS/
4. shell:
#!/bin/bash
yum clean all
WORK_DIR=/home/eric/job/working/DT/FC13/revisor
CFG_FILE=/etc/revisor/conf.d/test.ks
revisor --cli --yes --model=test-fc13 --kickstart=$CFG_FILE --install-tree
--working-directory=$WORK_DIR/work --destination-directory=$WORK_DIR/dest

[PATCH] per repo fetch sources configuration
by Dennis Gilmore
This patch makes it configuable per repo the command to fetch sources it expects use_common to be set even if its set to true
the format of the command is comma seperated i.e. make,sources fedpkg,sources this gets turned into a list which is extended to the list that gets passed to mock
with allowed_scms=pkgs.stg.fedoraproject.org:/*:false:fedpkg,sources cvs.fedoraproject.org:/cvs/pkgs
in /etc/kojid/kojid.conf i have done builds on my test koji from both git and cvs.

Re: koji spin-livecd error; patch for /usr/sbin/kojid
by Jay Greguske
Here it is:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=590340
I sent a patch upstream too but after browsing the sources I don't see my changes. My patch is attached, Doug's should work too.

Is yum up to date? We saw this error briefly too, but it went away once it was corrected in that package. I'll see if I can dig up the bugzilla...

koji spin-livecd error; patch for /usr/sbin/kojid
by Doug Reiland
I started to get errors trying to do a koji spin-livecd
In my mock directory, under tmp/koji-livecd. I am seeing a directory
called "installed" show up. It doesn't have a packages subdirectory so
os.listdirs generates a fault.

mod_python and koji's future
by Dennis Gilmore
After reading http://blog.dscpl.com.au/2010/05/modpython-project-soon-to-be-
officially.html It seems mod_python is about to be dropped from apache. Which
brings up what should koji do going forward? conversion to mod_wsgi seems
like a reasonably simple option. Maybe its time to start planning a 2.0
series that incorporates using an active app for the hub and using other
technologies.
Just wanted to get discussion kicked off
