Would it make any size difference using Sylpheed? the package is a
little bit smaller than Claws mail, yet the environment is similar.
I think claws is more for power users and meets the target audience
better. Nevertheless I think we could consider omiting some if not

I totally agree. A desktop spin needs a graphical mail client.
