IIRC, the Geode requires an "i586" kernel. The LiveCD uses an i686
kernel and thus won't boot on the hardware. The boot.iso embeds the
i586 kernel instead for this purpose
What about the netboot.iso? I used some usb key util to create the
bootable usb key. As the device only has 256 meg of ram I had
suspicions the live cd wouldn't work so I went with the installer.
