I have Nvidia 6100go on HP tx1000 laptop using opensource nv driver running fedora 10 (rawhide)
I can't even look what I'm typing so sorry for the typos...
Look how my fedora desktop looks after last update: http://www.uploadgeek.com/uploads456/0/DSC07584.JPG http://www.uploadgeek.com/uploads456/0/DSC07583.JPG http://www.uploadgeek.com/uploads456/0/DSC07582.JPG http://www.uploadgeek.com/uploads456/0/DSC07581.JPG

I remember this already happend some time ago... maybe some regression, but do not remember what was the cause/fix.

Distorted/misrendered fonts, this time with Radeon instead of Nvidia, are amply illustrated in pictures attached to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=466369
Some font settings tend to minimize the damage; OTOH I can make that really bad at will. Fedora 8 or 9, _on the same hardware_, does not show that problem.

Could not see any of that with driver radeon X86_64 snapshot2 cards: radeon hd2400, 1200
