How about cases where software rendering is working in a VirtualBox environment but
on occasion the display appears to be hung? The VM window is raised from being
minimized on the taskbar (KDE host) and the display portion is "transparent" in
that
the KDE wallpaper continues to be displayed or the display shows a random collection
of tiles part KDE wallpaper and part GNOME session.
Should, and/or how, should this be reported?
Possibly, but you'd probably need more data to determine if it's a VBox
issue or a mesa issue, I guess...
