is this the place to ask what happened to the shoot down option on the user menu, because now i have to log out before i can shoot down... the process seems longer... (fedora 15 alpha gnome3 and loving it!) thnx

If (like me) your system doesn't support suspend, you can try the alternative-status-menu extension, which Rahul Sundaram has packaged for F15: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gnome-shell-extensions-3.0.0-4.6d56c...
This extension adds a "Power Off..." option right below "Suspend"
Install gnome-shell-extensions-common and only the individual extensions you want to try.
