We need a lot more info for this to be of any use. For a start, what do
you mean by 'crashed'? Did anaconda post a traceback and offer you the
opportunity to file a bug report? Did you do it?
I had too many other problems right after the reinstall... One of them
being firefox silently refusing to start. No errors, just immediately
terminated. In the end I found the fix. Remove the line for the VMware
plugin in extensions.ini in my firefox profile dir. I'll have to find
out where to report that plugin as incompatible...
Back to anaconda. Yes, it offered to save a traceback. I'm attaching it
here. I have not reported the issue in bugzilla yet, since I only just
got firefox back in shape.
What I did on the first attempt:
Removed a windows partition (sda1) and old /boot (sda2?).
Created new /boot (ext4 sda1)
Created new swap (swap sda2)
Created new / (encrypted ext4 sda5)
My old F12 / was still there as sda3, sda3 was a LVM setup containing /
and swap.
