BackupPC-4.4.0-1.fc32 (FEDORA-2020-d58ae4e84f)
High-performance backup system
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
BackupPC 4.4.0 === This release contains several new features and some bug
fixes. New features include: * any full/filled backup can be marked for
keeping, which prevents any expiry or deletion * any backup can be annotated
with a comment (eg, "prior to upgrade of xyz") added metrics CGI (thanks to
@jooola) that replaces RSS and adds Prometheus support * tar XferMethod now
supports xattrs and acls * rsync XferMethod now correctly supports xattrs on
directories and symlinks * nightly pool scanning now verifies the md5 digests of
a configurable fraction of pool files * code runs through perltidy so format is
now uniform (thanks to @jooola, with help from @shancock9 and @moisseev) * New
versions of BackupPC::XS (0.62) and rsync-bpc (3.0.9.15, 3.1.2.2 or 3.1.3beta0)
are required. Here are the more detailed changes: * Merged pull requests #325,
#326, #329, #330, #334, #336, #337, #338, #342, #343, #344, #345, #347, #348,
#349 * Filled/Full backups can now be marked as "keep", which excludes them
from
any expiry/deletion. Also, a backup-specific comment can be added to any backup
to capture any important information about that backup (eg, "pre-upgrade of
xyz"). * Added metrics CGI, which adds Prometheus support and replaces RSS, by
@joola (#344, #347) * Tar XferMethod now supports xattrs and acls; xattrs sbould
be compatible with rsync XferMethod, but acls are not * Sort open directories to
top when browsing backup tree * Format code using perltidy, and included in pre-
commit flow, by @joola (#334, #337, #342, #343, #345). Thanks to @joola and
@shancock9 (perltidy author) for significant effort and support, plus
improvements in perltidy, to make this happen. * Added
$Conf{PoolNightlyDigestCheckPercent}, which checks the md5 digest of this
fraction of the pool files each night. * $Conf{ClientShareName2Path} is saved in
backups file and the share to client path mapping is now displayed when you
browse a backup so you know the actual client backup path for each share, if
different from the share name * configure.pl now checks the per-host config.pl
in a V3 upgrade to warn the user if $Conf{RsyncClientCmd} or
$Conf{RsyncClientRestoreCmd} are used for that host, so that the new settings
$Conf{RsyncSshArgs} and $Conf{RsyncClientPath} can be manually updated. * Fixed
host mutex handling for dhcp hosts; shifted initial mutex requests to client
programs * Updated webui icon, logo and favicon, by @moisseev (#325, #326, #329,
#330) * Added $Conf{RsyncRestoreArgsExtra} for host-specific restore settings *
Language files are now all use utf8 charsets * Bumped required version of
BackupPC::XS to 0.62 and rsync-bpc to 3.0.9.15. * Ping failure message only
written to stdout only if verbose * BackupPC_backupDelete removes partial v3
backup in HOST/new; fixes #324 reported by @thalueng * BackupPC_backupDelete
adds -f option to over keep, if set * BackupPC_nightly: change -f to -F when
running BackupPC_refCountUpdate during fsck * Better formatting of eval cmd
result in cmdSystemOrEvalLong() * Remove zero count entries in per-backup and
per-host poolCnt files * Add a fake version parameter to the CSS URL to overcome
caching * Fixed ALRM typo in BackupPC_dump, by @rhansen (#348) * Fixed command
name in error message in BackupPC_archive, by @rhansen (#349) *
lib/BackupPC/Xfer/Rsync.pm skips adding --iconv option when
$conf->{ClientCharset} is utf8 or empty, to avoid a long-standing rsync bug *
lib/BackupPC/Xfer/Rsync.pm provides a more informative warning when the client
rsync exits with an IO error, and also includes the IO error in the xferErr
count * lib/BackupPC/Xfer/Smb.pm recognizes NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE error *
Increase text length in config editor fields, by @moisseev (#336) * Typo fix in
config.pl, by @cure (#338) * Minor documentation updates, removing old
SourceForge links BackupPC-XS 0.62 released === This release has a couple of
fixes: * force rewrite of attr file if xattr key fixup was applied * fixed
attrib refCnt when attrib is unchanged * bpc_attrib_dirWrite() doesn't create
empty attrib files

chromium-83.0.4103.106-1.fc32 (FEDORA-2020-b68c0b124f)
A WebKit (Blink) powered web browser
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Black Lives Matter. Saying this does not mean that other lives do not matter. It
should not be controversial to say this. If I say Chromium updates matter, it
does not mean that other Fedora packages do not matter, it means that a Chromium
update is needed to fix this giant pile of severe security vulnerabilities,
here, today, now: CVE-2020-6463 CVE-2020-6465 CVE-2020-6466 CVE-2020-6467
CVE-2020-6468 CVE-2020-6469 CVE-2020-6470 CVE-2020-6471 CVE-2020-6472
CVE-2020-6473 CVE-2020-6474 CVE-2020-6475 CVE-2020-6476 CVE-2020-6478
CVE-2020-6479 CVE-2020-6480 CVE-2020-6481 CVE-2020-6482 CVE-2020-6483
CVE-2020-6484 CVE-2020-6485 CVE-2020-6486 CVE-2020-6487 CVE-2020-6488
CVE-2020-6489 CVE-2020-6490 CVE-2020-6491 CVE-2020-6505 CVE-2020-6506
CVE-2020-6507 In making that analogy, I do not intend to trivialize BLM. In no
way do I mean to compare the lives of people to a silly web browser update.
People are infinitely important than software. But since I'm here to push this
software update out, I am also choosing to say clearly and unambiguously that
Black Lives Matter. Open Source proves that many voices, many contributions,
together can change the world. It depends on it. This is my voice.

kcbench-0.9.0-0.fc32 (FEDORA-2020-740479e5ec)
Benchmark that compiles a Linux kernel
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Version 0.9.0 is a major rework with quite a number of important changes and new
features. These are the highlights, see below for details: * kcbench now
supports building a configuration generated with `make allmodconfig` *
compiling with gcc10 and clang (with or without LLVM=1) are now supported *
kcbench will now default to compiling Linux 5.7 for gcc10, clang10, and all
compilers it does not recognize * a totally new approach for finding the
optimal number of jobs that kcbench will use when compiling the kernel (make -j
#), as measurements showed some systems (like an AMD Threadripper that was
tested) compile the kernel quicker if SMT (aka HT/Hyper-Threading) is not used
(see below and the man page for details) * the old and slightly unintuitive
kcbench points result was dropped; instead show a "rate per hour" value
for
speed runs * kcbench now prints more details about the system before starting
to measure, including the CPUfreq driver and governor * quite a few command
line options and were changed to make usage more intuitive and consistent; some
defaults have changed, too * kcbench finally has a Makefile for installing *
the man page was improved quite a lot * handle errors during compilation more

phan-3.0.3-1.fc32 (FEDORA-2020-764444b1a7)
A static analyzer for PHP
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Jun 21 2020, **Phan 3.0.3** **New features (Analysis):** + Include the most
generic types when conditions such as `is_string()` to union types containing
`mixed` (#3947) + More aggressively infer that `while` and `for` loop bodies are
executed at least once in functions outside of other loops (#3948) + Infer the
union type of `!$expr` from the type of `$expr` (#3948) + Re-enable
`simplify_ast` by default in `.phan/config.php` (#3944, #3945) + Avoid false
positives in `--constant-variable-detection` for `++`/`--` + Make `if
(!$nullableValue) { }` remove truthy literal scalar values such as `'value'` and
`1` and `1.0` when they're nullable + Emit `PhanTypeVoidArgument` when passing a
void return value as a function argument (#3961) + Correctly merge the possible
union types of pass-by-reference variables (#3959) + Improve php 8.0-dev shim
support. Fix checking for array references and closure use references in php
8.0+. + More aggressively check if expression results should be used for
conditionals and binary operators. **Plugins:** + Add `ConstantVariablePlugin`
to point out places where variables are read when they have only one possible
scalar value. (#3953) This may help detect logic errors such as `$x === null ?
json_encode($x) : 'default'` or code that could be simplified, but most issues
it emits wouldn't be worth fixing due to hurting readability or being false
positives. + Add `MergeVariableInfoCapability` for plugins to hook into
ContextMergeVisitor and update data for a variable when merging the outcome of
different scopes. (#3956) + Make `UseReturnValuePlugin` check if a method is
declared as pure before using the dynamic checks based on percentage of calls
where the return value is used, if that option is enabled. + In
`DuplicateArrayKeyPlugin`, properly check for duplicate non-scalar cases.
**Language Server/Daemon mode:** + Fix bug where the Phan daemon would crash on
the next request after analyzing a file outside of the project being analyzed,
when pcntl was disabled or unavailable (#3954) **Bug fixes:** + Fix
`PhanDebugAnnotation` output for variables after the first one in `@phan-debug-
var $a, $b` (#3943) + Use the correct constant to check if closure use variables
are references in php 8.0+ **Miscellaneous:** + Update function signature
stubs for the `memcache` PECL (#3841)

Update Information:
copr-backend - better build task priority processing - dumping attempt to send
message to backend.log - drop the VMM concept, replaced with resalloc - delegate
more work to the builder code - external blob tarball for unittests - buggy
error handler in pkg_name_evr() - basic build task priority - the reschedule-all
builds idiom removed - fix the build cancelation - drop duplicate BuildRequire
on python-requests - require the newest version of copr-common - minimalize the
transfered amount of information about actions from FE - process actions in
regard to their priority - move backend's code to standard PYTHONPATH - move
ActionResult to copr_common.enums - actions/builds use the same WorkerManager
logic - more verbose rawhide to release action processing - fix copr-repo to
work with absolute paths - automatically batch the createrepo requests -
scheduler is now fair, and ordered - indefinitely retry workers' talk to
frontend - allow canceling also "starting" builds - more verbose delete action
in logs - cleanup the example configuration - use FileHandler for backend.log,
fixes traceback copr-frontend - more obvious links to the live logs - return a
user friendly error when modulemd is not ok - basic build task priority
implemented - droped the reschedule-all builds idiom - new build cancel
implementation - WorkerManager used for builds, too - enable deleting multiple
builds from cli - drop RequestCannotBeExecuted and BuildInProgressException -
re-assign BuildChroots to re-enabled CoprChroot - not finished build_chroots to
disallow copr_chroot removal - models: link BuildChroot(s) with corresponding
CoprChroot(s) - fix repo generation for modules with dash in their name - added
support for project runtime dependencies - return user friendly error when build
chroot was not found - large sync of model with migrations - require the newest
version of copr-common - fix for the new werkzeug in rawhide - use flask caching
instead of flask cache - prioritize initial createrepo action, set lower
priority for some actions - make ActionsLogic.send_* methods to return the
generated action - minimalize the transfered amount of action information to BE
- disable group build delete checkboxes if js is not enabled - provide status
information for build chroots in APIv3 - fix application context error for add-
user command - move some constants to copr.conf so we can tweak them - disallow
creating modules without any packages - don't show builds table when there are
none of them - fix pagure-events so it submits correct packages - show _all_
build-delete checkboxes when javascript is on - don't submit builds when there
are no CoprChroot(s) assigned - make pending-jobs faster again - allow canceling
also "starting" builds - don't traceback on invalid cancel requests -

./configure --with-qt=..., it is also necessary to adjust the PKG_CONFIG_PATH

Cabanillas, while on qmidinet, thanks). 2019-10-17 - An Autumn'19 Release.
qjackctl-0.6.0 ------------------- - Graph: avoid self-connecting over their
own ports when client nodes are selected as a whole group; also try to match
port-types in a oderly fashion when connecting multiple selected ports. -
Changing current JACK buffer size from Setup dialog (cf. Settings /
Frames/Period) may now take effect just immediately ;) - An 'Apply' button as
been added to the Setup dialog; ask whether to restart the JACK audio server, if
any settings are changed. - Added alternate yet non-official CMake build
option. - Fix HiDPI display screen effective support (Qt >= 5.6). -

refactored to be exactly the same as the main-window context menu that is re-
instantiated on demand. - Make sure compiler flags comply to c++11 as

qjackctl-0.5.7 ------------------- - Graph node and port title renaming and
nodes position move changes are now undo/redo-able. - Graph client and port
title in-place renaming is now integrated to native aliases and JACK metadata
(aka. pretty-names). - Refactored all native client/port name aliases. -
Re-defined all main application UNIX signal handling. 2019-03-11 - Pre-LAC2019
Release Frenzy. qjackctl-0.5.6 ------------------- - Refactored all
singleton/unique application instance setup logic away from X11/Xcb hackery. -
At last, JACK freewheel mode is now being detected as to postpone any active
patchbay scans as much as possible. - Removed old pre-FFADO 'freebob' driver
support. - HiDPI display screen support (Qt >= 5.6). - Graph port
temporary highlighting while hovering, if and only if connecting ports of same
type and complementary modes. - Bumped copyright headers into the New Year
(2019).

wsjtx-2.2.2-1.fc32 (FEDORA-2020-03ab6fdcff)
Weak Signal communication by K1JT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Release: WSJT-X 2.2.2 June 22, 2020
--------------------- WSJT-X v2.2.2 is a bug fix release, mainly to incorporate
the new RAC section PE into the FT8/FT4/MSK144 Contest Mode for Field Day. -
Stations intending to operate in Field Day (FD) are urged to upgrade to this
release, without it you cannot set your section to PE, and of equal
importance you cannot decode contest messages from stations who are operating
from PE without this upgrade. - FT8 decoder speeded up in Normal and Fast
modes. This change gives a speed of decoding closer to that of v2.1.2 without
compromising the number of decodes. It is particularly targeted for slower
single board computer users such as the Raspberry Pi Model 3 or similar. -
Thanks to our user interface language translation contributors for many
improvements to the translated strings. - The DX Grid field is now cleared
automatically when the DX Call field is changed. Care should be taken to
complete entry of a callsign before entering a grid square.
