Hi,
1. I did a F18 TC3 minmal install (without X environment). No password
is requested for the root account, so after the first boot there is no
chance to login. I solved this by a boot into the rescue environment and
the setting an initial root pwd.
This one is in bugzilla already--Adam filed it. I ran into it on a virtual
machine and was having trouble getting in to edit it--when I hit e to edit,
I had a blank textbox. Eventually, after hitting c for command line, which
took me to grub prompt, escape and going back to e, I finally got something
in the text box and was able to type in the word, single. (Adam suggested
using a rescue CD and mounting it instead, which is probably far easier).
Didn't have the same issues with the keyboard, but I chose default US
English.

Buffy: Yeah. She saw these scores and her head spun around and
exploded.
Giles: I've been on the Hellmouth too long, that was metaphorical,
yes?
Buffy: Yes.
