2009/1/24 Antonio M <antonio.montagnani(a)gmail.com>:
After today's updates I decided to revert back but when I use yum
or yumex I get
yum update all
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:
libelf.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.
It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.6 (r26:66714, Jan 16 2009, 10:38:26)
[GCC 4.3.2 20081105 (Red Hat 4.3.2-7)]
If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please go to
the yum faq at:
http://wiki.linux.duke.edu/YumFaq
How do I recover if neither yum or yumex are working?? and what shall
I have to install??????
