Just to clarify here a bit. While it is true that Red Hat isn't fond of
the nVidia code as a result of it being closed-source, there's more to the
story than that. Since nVidia won't open up their drivers, it makes it
very difficult for our technical support folks to debug any issues which
customers end up having and reporting. We've had quite a few issues which
have been caused by the nVidia driver being loaded on a customer's system,
and since we can't see the internals of the driver, the best that we can
offer to our customers is, "Well, everything is working without the nVidia
code loaded, so don't use it and your problems go away."
