Hi Folks,
I am glad to join at *Fedora QA Team*, I have worked with Linux on
different distros for long years and dedicated full time with Red Hat
in my last year. Until this moment I couldn't contribute actively for
any
upstream project (except had reported some bugs) even I had developed
plenty of codes for Bugzilla and RT - Request Tracker, just used in
downstream, internally. Anyway, now I feel it is the time to
contribute
with the project.
so let me introduce myself:
My name is Eduardo Cerqueira, I am 36 years old, I am Brazilian
living at
US/Massachusetts. I have dedicated part of my life
for Computer Science in general, not just for work but as a passion.
I love
to learn new things and always being in a new challenge. For the last
6
years or so I have digging in Continuous Integration and helping
teams
improve their codes, system, applications, process with automation
and
applying CI.
I have some experience such as:
_ developer ( Java, Python and some others languages ) and several
frameworks
_ Release Engineer ( CI, CD, Jenkins, several script languages,
build and
deployment etc )
_ QA ( Selenium, some other frameworks also had developed some
others but
not in upstream, Bug system tools - Bugzilla, Jira, Trac )
_ some other things... and know how to brew a very good coffee :)
Thank you to accept me at Fedora Project and I will do my best to
help in
anything and any area that I could be helpful.
Feel free to contact me for anything,
Hi Eduardo, sorry for the late reply and welcome! Since you have an
interest in tooling, did you also sign up for the qa-devel@ list, where
we discuss the QA tools? I guess you might be interested in following
or contributing to that work. Thanks again for volunteering!
