Greetings.
I thought I would pass along a upcoming change to bugzilla and see if anyone saw problems or issues with it before it lands.
The change is tracked in this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=950315
Basically it will replace the long list of components when you go to enter a new bug with a ajaxy input field where you type in the component name and it shows you a list of matches.
This reduces load on the bugzilla servers a good deal and makes the page load a lot faster. However, it might be that it doesn't work so well in some browsers or has other issues. (There's a test instance listed in the bug if you would care to test).
Please do provide any feedback in the above bug... this change will likely land in the next few weeks barring problems found.
Thanks,
kevin

The test link doesn't work.
Hopefully you'll at least be able to enter a component somehow without having javascript available.

Looks like it's on an internal Red Hat network, so that's less than useful.

I just tested, and it falls back to the long list of components when Javascript is disabled, and filing works fine.

The link does not work and perhaps it's best that we test this in the browsers we ship as well as chrome/chromium and opera before this get implemented. ( you know so we dont hit issues filing bugs about other issues )
